Lesson 2: Train your Brain

· Behaviour Management, Parents Exclusive

Our brain can be divided into 3 parts:

The Limbic brain which is the seat of our emotions, the reptilian brain which controls our basic functioning and our rational brain which is for planning and strategy. Depending on which part of your brain that you train this will determine your response to life situations.

By default we all respond to challenging behaviour with our limbic system which is reactive and spontaneous. That’s when you find yourself screaming or having fits of anger or responding in ways that are extreme. If this is your style then you are dealing with your children’s behaviour reactively and not proactively. Join us as we share the next lesson to learn more no-repeat;center top;; auto
