Global Connections and Exchange

At Golden Links, we have developed partnerships with outstanding and excellent schools in the United Kingdom to create various learning experiences for international schools both for teachers and students.
 
We facilitate student exchange programmes, peer support programmes (teacher to teacher mentoring) global networking with students and teachers in the United Kingdom, international summer work experience opportunities and summer enrichment programmes. These programmes and options are available across the United Kingdom and Europe

The Global Schools Connect Programme is an exciting opportunity as Nigerian Schools will be collaborating with a partner school in the United Kingdom. This robust programme focuses on students, teachers and the school’s cross-country collaboration. This programme offers the students an opportunity to interact, learn and collaborate on a global project. Students from the Nigerian Schools will be collaborating with students from Sydney Russell School London and the project is focused on one of the SDG Goals.

Phase 1 – School Virtual Collaboration

This is the first phase of the project and it entails students from both schools researching, having group discussions and disseminating contents of research to their individual schools.

Phase 2- London School Exchange

Students from the Nigerian Schools to attend the London School Exchange Programme for the completion of the Global Schools Connect programme.
An amazing opportunity as students study in London for a week having both an immersive and exploratory learning experience

Phase 3- Nigerian School Exchange

Students in Sydney Russell School to visit their Nigerian Partner Schools for the Nigerian School Exchange Programme and study for a week in the Nigerian School as the extended phase of the project.

Partner School- Sydney Russell School Primary & Secondary School

Sydney Russell School is a centre of excellence in teaching and learning based in East London. It is a school that has excelled both in student achievement and has been awarded the prestigious award of GOOD by Ofsted (The Office of his Majesty’s School Inspection). This was one of the few schools visited by Queen Elizabeth.
