She is the current head of department in a secondary school,  an advanced practitioner in a further education college and a specialist and consultant in teaching, learning, quality assurance, education leadership. She is an author and an assessor with the institution for quality in the United Kingdom. Completed her post-graduate diploma in teaching to qualify as a teacher.
